The challenge:

Utilizing their latest technological advancements, develop an idea that strengthens the company's position as one of the security sector’s most innovative firms.

Context:

With over 45 years in security the industry, Prosegur has become one of the world’s leading security firms with a recent shift in focus toward security technology and cyber defense. 

 

To establish themselves as the frontrunners of innovation in the security sector, the company acquired a fleet of mobile and agile robots (SPOT) from world-renowned robotics manufacturer, Boston Dynamics.

The idea

Beneath the Prado Museum lie kilometers upon kilometers of ducts, passages, staircases, and secrets...

It is within this secret space that the museum stores thousands of precious unexhibited works of art and houses its security control center. Equipped with advanced security technology, including sensors and cameras to detect and deter potential threats, we sent SPOT to patrol one of the museum’s most sensitive areas.

Altogether, SPOT explored the almost 6,000 square meter storage facility that exists beneath The Prado and brought audiences along to uncover the guts of one of the most important museums in the world. For this, we developed a web page through which people were able to view SPOT’s live camera feed and see the Prado like never before.

​Additionally, we created a temporary art installation within the museum titled “El Prado Oculto” where museum-goers had the chance to control SPOT with the assistance of one of Prosegur’s security agents.
